Elliot R. Warren is a skilled and experienced criminal defense attorney who has successfully handled hundreds of cases. He is licensed to practice law in Connecticut, New York, and the District of Columbia. He regularly appears in the Federal courts in Connecticut -- Bridgeport, Hartford and New Haven. He also appears in State courts throughout Connecticut, but primarily in Bridgeport, Danbury, Stamford, New Haven, Waterbury and Hartford. He has also been involved in matters before Federal Courts in New York, the District of Columbia, and elsewhere.

Criminal law involves the representation of individuals or organizations charged (or about to be charged) with violations of laws for which conviction can subject them to incarceration or other serious consequences. While business entities face fines for criminal acts, their officers, owners, or employees may be personally liable and face individual charges. Penalties for these individuals may include imprisonment in addition to fines.

Criminal matters vary widely; from white-collar fraud crimes to drug or weapons charges, from driving under the influence to tax evasion, and from larceny to domestic violence.
